Granulomas comprise the bulk of cases that are sent for histopathology, both for diagnostic and research purposes. The commonest granulomatous disorders are leprosy followed by tuberculosis and fungal conditions. Besides this there are other rare granulomas that continue to baffle both clinicians and pathologists, often needing clinical correlation and discussion. Here the accuracy of obtaining a good history and clinical description is necessary.
